CFA Exam Results

CFA exam results have always been an enigma. Unlike other exams, CFA has its own way of releasing the result which is not in sync with how Indians are used to seeing the results 🙂 In this blog we show a snapshot of the CFA scorecard and detail out what it means. Also some insights around what it means and where should a CFA aspirant be in this CFA Scorecard grid to qualify the exam is detailed out below 🙂

This is a snapshot of my CFA scorecard (Wrote CFA Level 1 in 2010). For each of the sections, CFA stars the column in which you final score lies. The ideal situation is obviously to be in the >70% zone but a good mix of >50-70% and >70% would sail you through 🙂

So where is the catch? For Level 1 the intent is to be in > 50% zone for the Ethical and Professional standards section. All the other sections can have a good mix of other zones 🙂

Great 🙂 Next in line of your query would be to know the pass rate? We deal with the CFA pass rate in our next blog, Solving the CFA Pass rate conundrum
